Happy Mom's Day! :)

This is my first Mom's day & for part of my gift we will be doing what I love ... working in the garden and I can't wait!! The second part is Sr. cooking me breakfast.. ....YUM! THe third part is going to my grandmom's house for a mom's day dinner! Not sure how many parts there will be, but this is going to be a great mom's Day!

I am thankful to have a strong beautiful mother who loves me to no end. From her, I learned how to provide for my family & still take care of home. I am grateful to have an amazing grandmother. From her, I learned how to be a care giver & how to be a lady. I am also Thankful for my  wonder mom in law who raised one heck of a man!  I love y'all & Happy Mom's Day ! :)

Thanksgiving weekend!

Thanksgiving weekend was so much fun. I had my hubby the entire weekend! I am sooooo happy. We got much  accomplished. We put up the Christmas tree! It is a beauty I must say myself. The colors we picked were blue, gold & silver. It came out really nice. For some strange reason, I am in the Christmas spirit. I really hope it continues! :)

We also did some long over do gardening work. :)
I have so much to be thankful for. My wonderful husband & my AMAZING son!

Alden James Cheatham Jr's room is DONE! All we need is baby :)

The Nursary is done!!
I enjoyed doing this nursary with my husband sooo much. We really pretty much agreed on almost everything. I came up with the concept & he helped put it together. This nursary is truly maded out of love. I cannot wait until AJ get here! :)

I was on a budget of $500. I did a lot of clearence shopping, Craigslist shopping, & discount shopping. We had giftcards from our wedding we never used that I used for the babyroom. Some stuff we got from family. Mostly everything I brought I got on sale.

The paint color or Valpser Harvest(stipes) & Martha Stewart's Spun Suger. We brought from Lowes. Harvest was from left over paint from our master's bed room. I really wanted to tie the two rooms in!

Working on the BABY ROOM!!

I am soooo excited about the babyroom! :)
Can not wait until it's finish!
The colors are cream, gold, blue, brown, & black... lol :)
The theme is Safari... lol For the longest, I have said I was not going with the Safari theme... lol
it just happen.. but it is coming out really nice! I am abolutely in love.. My deadline to finish the room is Aug. 31... because in September I'mma be going to my brithing classes & having baby showers & things... so I figured I want the babyroom to be done! Hopefully, I'll be done... My budget for the room is $500.. I am still on budget.. I have like $80 left to spend... I still have a nice amount of stuff to buy... like floor lamp ( probably going to baby from target $40) Hamper, trash can, cube bookcase & rocking chair! So how am I going to pull this off?? lol Good thing I have left a $50 sears giftcard.. just got to figure out what I'm going to buy with it...
