a Tea Party for her 21st Bday! :)

Friday was my favorite cousin Lemetria's birthday. She made 21, and  my favorite sister ( my only sister lol) and I decided to throw her a grown up tea party on Saturday to celebrate. The theme was vintage Spring  tea party. I had so much fun planning this party in 2 days. It was a challenge on the budget we had which was tiny, but we had so much fun.

Most of the vintage pieces where given to me by my grandmother like the lamp. It was passed down from her grandmother to her mother then to me. I am sooo honored. The candy jars were found around the house.  The gift bags and the wine glasses came from the dollar store. We wrapped them in pink ribbon. The pink napkins also came from the dollar store & we stamped them with a stamp that cost us a PENNY that we got from Michael's! :)

Everything on the table I pretty much got from the thrift store & from my grandmother's china cabinet. It was a mix of new and old. it worked out nice.

We did a picture line over the table. We printed up pictures that she had taken with everybody who was there at some point in life . Everybody signed the back with some encouraging words. You should try this at your next occasion! Everyone enjoyed the picture line.

On the left is the birthday girl Lemetria & on the right is my cousin Lauren!

On the left my little sister & On the right me ofcourse! :)

Our guest of honor finally showed up! :)
We were so happy that our grandmother came to the tea party. We were waiting on her to drink out of the tea cups which we never got to. ha maybe next time! :)

We really enjoyed our shelves. We decided we are going to have a tea party at least once a year.

**side note: We started our garden & I can't wait to show ya'll. :)

How was your weekend?? What did you do?? What did you think of our tea party??
